Russia and India Continue Discussions on Visa-Free Group Travel
July 2026Indosvetka
Russia and India continue discussions on introducing a visa-free travel scheme for organized tourist groups. Under the proposal, groups of up to 50 travelers could visit Russia for up to 21 days without obtaining individual visas.
The agreement has not yet entered into force, so Indian citizens still need a valid visa to travel to Russia. If approved, the initiative is expected to simplify travel and encourage tourism between the two countries.
